Winter break

is almost here and I cannot wait. Two weeks home relaxing.

Tomorrow, I get another ultrasound with the RE. I think it will be our last appointment with him. Hopefully, tonight is my last progesterone shot. On the 29th, I have my first appointment with an OB. Dr. Pamela Golden comes highly recommended for those wanting to do natural childbirth, which I do.

I have also signed up to learn the Bradley method of natural childbirth--12 weeks of classes starting April 2nd. I really don't want any interventions unless my or the baby's life in in danger. No drugs, no episiotomy, no forcepts or vacuums. Justin is supporting what I want but he is scared that something will go wrong. I am thinking positive and that everything will go as it should.

I was talking to my mom about Bradley method and she told me she used that with me and my brother--I never knew that. Then I was talking to my dad and he said they actually taught the Bradley method to others when the regular teachers were not availble. Wild.

I also watched a documentary called The Business of Being Born--very interesting and it only solidified my determination for natural childbirth. Justin watched it with me and maybe he understands a little better by perspective. He is nervous nonetheless. He will learn a whole lot more than he probably every wanted to know--but he does have to be my labor coach.

Just know you are my hero! I could never do it!! I can't even stand my yearly female exams since I was 16 years old!! :) Sadly, I have had all c-sections and have to have another :( Can't wait to learn more about what you will be learning though...I think that is awesome!

Go Sarah! All I can say, is that you can do it. I hope your OB is awesome, can't wait to hear about your first meeting with her.
