Our Anniversary

Today is the 12 year mark!

12 years ago we got married in Laguna Beach, California at my grandparents ocean front property and it was a perfect day. Everything went as planned and I think everyone had a good time. It has always seemed like a warm fuzzy dream since.

Now we are pregnant and about 4 and a half weeks away from meeting our daughter--at least I hope she stays in that much longer and reaches her due date. This weekend has been all about Daphne. Yesterday we went to babies are US and bought the essential items we still needed: the car seat/travel system, pack and play, diaper champ, mattress, bedding, boppy cover, baby monitor, and changing pad and covers. We put the travel system together last night. I made my way through some thank you notes for shower gifts--still many more to do. Today, we are packing our bag for the "birth" day and getting the non-perishable provisions on our list. This afternoon we have a tour of L&D at TMC just in case I end up in the hospital. Then tonight it is about us: Dinner at Anthony's in the Catalinas. It is a fancy restaurant that we have never been to but hear it is nice for a special occasion. Beautiful views.

It looks like it is going to be a beautiful day out.
