I am still a little sore as I walk around, but the 3 IV spots hurt more than my ovaries. I am waiting for a call back on how many of my 8 eggs fertilized. The progesterone shot in oil was not as bad as I anticipated. The needle is a little thicker. I laid on a hot pad after to help dissipate the oil, but all in all, not terrible--they can go on though for the next 7 weeks--my rear may be sore just for the shear number of them. Big day #2 comes Friday at 10:30 am.

I talked to the nurse later on Wednesday, she told me that my ovaries would continue to be sore due to pressure. During the proceedure, the doctor only asperated the eggs and left the follicle sack behind. The follicle refills with fluid so I will continue to be sore there. She also told me that 6 of the 8 eggs fertilized--YEAH. Now I am debating on whether to be conservitive with how many we transfer. I was planning on three, but now I am thinking two. We have some talking to do.

Can I just say that you are my hero!! Wow...I love following all of this Sarah...and you are soo brave!! I think I would definitely be complaining, but you are just grateful. I need to be more like you. Cant wait to check back and hear more!!
